ERIEZ

Booth: H17

The Eriez Dry Low Intensity Magnetic Separator (DLIMS) is a permanent magnetic separator for continuous, dry concentration of ferrous contaminants in mineral processing lines. It provides automated concentration of magnetic ores, removal of magnetite from fly ash, purification of ground slag, foundry sand, cement and minerals.

Image: Eirez

Eriez Dry Fast (DF) Agitating Drum Magnets are high-strength and high-capacity, and come in a complete range of models and options. They’re designed to be operated in a way similar to other drums but with some important differences. Older, slow, agitating or radial field drums employ only magnetic attraction and gravity as the separating forces. Their capacity is limited due to the slow speed of rotation of the drum shell. The DF High Speed Drums employ high-strength magnetic elements and high-speed shell rotation. This makes it possible to introduce a third factor in the separation of materials – inertia.

To maximise the advantage of all these forces, Eriez engineered new, powerful magnetic circuits which permit high rotational speeds for the drum shell. Carefully balanced magnetic attraction, field depth and shell speed achieve an efficient, high-capacity machine which effectively throws out fine non magnetics and retains the magnetics.

FLEXCO

Booth: B21

The FXC Steel Cord Belt Fastening System is the first-ever mechanical fastener designed specifically for steel cord belts. Flexco developed the FXC to provide a faster, more reliable solution for minimising downtime while waiting for vulcanisation.

Image: Flexco

The patented system can be installed immediately on-site to get belts back up and running or used to pull a new belt onto the conveyor. It can also be pre-spliced to belt ends ahead of a belt pull, making stringing a belt onto the system even faster.

While designed as an emergency fix, the FXC delivers full performance, allowing operations to fill stockpiles or maintain output while vulcanisation is scheduled. Rigorously tested in controlled and field environments, it’s built to perform in the toughest mining conditions.

If unplanned belt issues are impacting your uptime, visit Flexco at stand B21 to see a live demo. Learn how the FXC system helps you respond faster, reduce downtime and keep your heavy-duty operations moving.

HOBSON ENGINEERING

Booth: HH06

Superbolt pioneered the revolution in nuts and bolts with its multi-jackbolt tensioning (MJT) technology. This innovative technology has a proven track record of tens of thousands of successful installations, and development continues to address future bolting challenges. These tensioners provide a simple and cost-effective solution for tightening large bolts with high accuracy, eliminating the need for specialised skills or heavy tooling. A comprehensive range of standard series tensioners is available, along with the capacity to create custom designs for unique requirements.

Image: Hobson Engineering

Superbolt MJTs convert high preload demands into manageable torques by using jackbolts threaded through the nut body. This design makes them easy to install, even on larger sizes, when compared to standard hex bolts. Advantages of Superbolt MJTs include their quick, easy and safe installation and removal, profitable lifecycle cost, and simple maintenance procedure, making them a reliable tooling option. The Superbolt MJTs can also fit into restricted areas. Superbolt products have undergone rigorous testing and received approval from independent institutes and certification authorities.
