Papua New Guinea continues to grow as a key player in the mining and industrial sectors, with a strong demand for reliable, high-performance equipment that can effectively handle the region’s unique challenges.

As major infrastructure projects roll out and resource developments expand across the country, the need for machinery that delivers efficiency, durability, and productivity has never been more important.

From remote mining operations to coastal quarry sites, equipment must be able to perform in rugged environments while keeping maintenance and downtime to a minimum.

Lincom Group understands these challenges well, and they will be returning to the 2025 PNG Industrial & Mining Resources Exhibition and Conference in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea (PNG) on July 2 and 3.

For over 30 years, Lincom Group has been a trusted partner in material processing across the Pacific and Australia. At this year’s event, its focus will be on showcasing the capabilities of MDS, Powerscreen, and McLanahan – brands known for their quality, durability and strong performance in tough environments.

MDS is renowned for designing and manufacturing state-of-the-art trommels and apron feeders that thrive in harsh, high-impact conditions.

Its trommels can handle larger rocks than any other on the market and are equipped with advanced features such as modular drums, drum cleaners, remote control, and electronic monitoring systems. With processing capacities ranging from 350 to 1000 tonnes per hour, they deliver productivity without compromise.

Also featured is the Powerscreen range of mobile crushing and screening equipment, a name synonymous with innovation and reliability. Powerscreen machines are designed to enhance efficiency on site.

Its crushers and screeners are built to perform in rugged environments, offering operators the confidence to meet demanding production goals.

Completing the lineup is McLanahan, specialising in sand and aggregate processing systems. Its equipment is trusted worldwide for its long service life, low maintenance requirements, and adaptability to complex material flows.

Its solutions enable operations to extract maximum value from raw materials while maintaining efficiency and ensuring environmental compliance.

Lincom Group supports industries across PNG with more than just equipment. For the company, it’s never been about dropping off a machine and walking away.

It believes in building long-term partnerships and being present throughout the entire journey, from planning and commissioning to operation and beyond. That means providing reliable access to spare parts, responsive field service, and technical support when and where it’s needed most.

Its team knows the region, understands the local conditions, and genuinely cares about helping customers achieve the best performance from their machines.

That support extends to training as well, Lincom Group has a dedicated Technical Institute in Queensland and offers tailored on-site training across PNG, ensuring operators are confident, and working safely.

The team is also available for site visits to help evaluate operational needs and provide expert guidance in selecting the right equipment from the beginning. It’s that level of ongoing support that sets them apart.
